A mural for a hair salon in Edinburgh

In March 2024, Stag Barber launched a competition calling for local artists to create a mural under the theme of ‘This Way Forward’, celebrating Stag’s B Corp status and 10th birthday. I was lucky enough to win with my design, shown above.
The site specific project took into consideration Stag’s bright and funky interior colour scheme and so I chose to go bold, from the colours to the scribbly textures. Since the installation of the design, the mural has provided a functional purpose of filtering the stark sunlight thatshines into the shop interior. I loved this project and it was a wonderful opportunity to liaise with the lovely team at Stag, and Black Box Signs who produced the mural.
