Being a single mother can mean juggling a job, domestic tasks and childcare. This mural was inspired by a case study from The Lines Between for Save the Children, detailing experiences of single mothers living in Scotland. The case study is entitled Day In, Day Out, informing the name and inspiration for the mural*. The design shows a mother quite literally juggling daily tasks and expresses the difficult nature of doing so to make ends meet.
